“Instill the love of you into all the world, for a good character is what is remembered”  Merikare

The beauty in networking is proof that you have the power to make a difference and your powers are based on whom you know rather than what you know. There is a synergistic power in numbers that is huge and exponentially unaccountable. Connecting to the human web or the degrees of separation has the ability to multiply, and multiply quickly. For example, on Tuesday I conducted an experiment by launching a campaign, asking my friends to please, pre-order ‘The Seminar’ book one week before the public release date, which is June 1, 2012. Seemingly, they did and passed the word on. Two days later the book went from 885,773rd place to 16,363rd place, an increase of 869,410 positions, out of over 8,000,000 books, all books, sold on amazon. It reached best seller status, which is when it ranks within the top 100 books sold in a particular category. In the Business Enterprise category, it moved all the way up to #32. Of course it will now fluctuate in position until it is released and by then people will give referrals, good and/or bad, which is again capable of rocking the boat with sudden position movement.

The main lesson learned from the experiment that I want to share with you is that your old friends, school chums, family, neighbors, colleagues, business prospects, and customers, would be excited for you to ask them for their assistance or help, particularly, if periodically, you touch bases with them and offer your assistance and/or help. Be sure to always thank them and that is my next step.

The social media is also a great tool for you to use sending those in your databases, information related to their fields of business and/or interests. The personal touch is invaluable. Attention is love and every one of us wants to be loved. This is not a form of manipulation, it is simply doing unto others as you would want them to do unto you. Give and Take, is another subject in the ‘Passageways to Riches’TM and we can discuss that another time. This blog is about networking and more of this information can be found in ‘The Seminar’. Incidentally, you can grab a peek inside of the book if you search on amazon.com/The Seminar by Reuven Bryer.

Enjoy, and I’ll see you on the ‘Passageways to Riches’TM
